Variants is a set of 5 loosely constructed variations, originally written for recorder in 1984. For a long while, I decided that it would work better on flute, with a few minor changes, hence this arrangement completed in 2010.
The five pieces are Intrada, Ballade, Intermezzo, Nocturne and Toccata.
