Spirals is for flute, clarinet and piano and was written in 2012 for the Parhelion Trio.  It lasts just under 1 minute.

The piece consists of short melodic phrases, treated serially, which appear to spiral around each other, spiralling out of control, then spirally downwards to a calm finish.
