Written in 2014, this Burlesque is a duet for violoncello and double bass and lasts just 1 minute and 20 seconds.

A ‘Burlesque’ is a musical joke, or satire. In this short piece, the comedy is represented by having two low instruments in a duet, sharing and swapping musical themes in an unlikely fashion. There is also a version for acoustic guitar and electric bass guitar.
