This work was written in 2010 for the percussion soloist, Dave Danford (the dedicatee of my 13th Symphony (Virginia Epitaph). There are four movements played without a break:
1. Night Sounds
2. Nightmare
3. Night Sky
4. Nightclub.
The third movement is an adaptation of material from my tone-poem, Distant Nebulae.
