a recording of the performance space should be made one evening - 40 minutes duration
singers should stand in various positions around the audience but at a distance - inside or outside the performance space
the field recording should be played back at low volume through speakers positioned around the audience
as the recording begins to become more engraved in the space, the singers should find very soft, hushed tones - creating a unified, shifting chord
the performance should last until there is a slow realisation amongst the singers that the field recording has ended for this reason singers should remain as quiet as possible throughout
voices, field recording and the sound of the performance space should be equally audible
