Written as a short and quirky birthday present, this piece is influenced by the jazz piano style of Bill Evans and applies it to a contemporary music setting. Offering a familiar melody with a twist, it features the traditional song 'For he's a jolly good fellow', which rises out of the background before disappearing again as the final bars ring out.
