HOME IN ONE
PREFACE
Home is represented by the home key of C major and by Common time. The music goes on an excursion into the remote key of Gb major and complex rhythms. After exploring a few other keys and modes, it returns home in triumph. It was written for Opera North's Minute Masterpiece Competition in 2021.
