The first performance took place in the Arena Foyer of Birmingham Conservatoire, UK. This space contained 4 large windows which look out into separate rooms. The audience faced these windows as if they were watching 4 large cinema screens. The lights in the space were switched off, so that the only illumination was coming through the windows.
