Landscapes is a choral response to the artworks of JMW Turner and Helen Frankenthaler, created for the exhibition Making Painting: JMW Turner and Helen Frankenthaler at Turner Contemporary. Landscapes debuted on April 16th 2014 surrounded by the artworks that inspired its creation, with the aim of uniting visual art and sound to enhance the perception of the artworks on display. Through researching the artistic processes and muses of each artist, Landscapes explores the unity of art, music and poetry within physical and emotional landscapes.
