Kaleidoscope 2 is a piece for two pianos that was written as part of a first-year collaborative induction project between postgraduate pianists and composers at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. This piece was intended to make the practice of collaboration not just part of the creative process but as a fundamental element of its performance. Both players begin the piece at the same time and progress through the fifteen cells at their own pace, resulting in an ever-changing collage of textures and colours.
