London Sinfonietta put out a request for pieces written on a postcard during April 2020 and this was my response. I think of this piece like a sculpture: a single idea that doesn't change much, but that could be played in combination with other single-idea pieces that I've composed. These pieces exist almost like a gallery show in my head, where the listener could wander around occasionally paying attention if something struck them.
