'Photo Piece' is a performance and intervention work which examines the modes of spectatorship within classical music, as well as the potential of the photographic image and performance. A group of musicians will improvise using a projected score of photograms. The performance will take place during a traditional concert, in front of an unsuspecting audience.

The work was originally performed in 2012 by The Angel Orchestra and their director Peter Fender. The resulting documentation was selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2014 and was restaged at the ICA, London.
