Technical requirements:  2 microphones & amplifiers for flute aeolian sounds & piano strings.

"Noites da Floresta Goiana" was inspired by a fiesta of night-time sounds in the a forest in Goias province in Brazil. Ambient sounds including strummed strings on the piano, frame the work. It begins sparse, fragmented and very quiet, building up gradually to a vibrant Bossa section. The piece then becomes more lyrical and dreamy, starting to break up and diminish again, arriving at a flute aeolian (air) sounds solo.
