"Magic Lantern" is inspired by Julie Wilson-Bokowiec text. It sonically explores neo-paganism, satyr-like and underworld themes. Aural abreactions are tamed only by the cool indifference of the machine, the medium that also massages them into aural-life.
It was first performed on the International stage in September 1997, at the International Computer Music Conference that was, in that year, held in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki.
