Additional Information

A piece for solo oboe and string orchestra, specifically 11 players. The strings are subdivided in several places within the work as such: 3 first violins, 3 second violins, 2 viola, 2 cellos and a single bass. The work was first performed in the Manchester University Music Department by Richard Simpson and the Goldberg Ensemble in May 1994.
