The second movement of a short suite of three dances for harp, oboe and cello inspired by the story of Demeter. This is - eventually - to be followed by a third - Hecate and, possibly, Baubo. Like Kore, this movement not overtly programmatic in any way except, perhaps, in terms of the general mood - that of fruitless questing and somewhat despairing conclusion.
