About the piece: "I wrote this tune set for my mum, Valerie. It sets the scene of the geese flying over North East Scotland, the farmland and the sea. The seals pop up out of the water to follow mum as she walks along the coast. The last two tunes describe my Great Grandfather's days as a fisherman and how he used to parcel up the fish every now and again and send it down to us, in England, in the First Class post! "
