Reflections of a Life Not Lived is a piano quartet which explores the processes and emotions one experiences when contemplating thoughts of the life one could have lived. One can often be sorrowful or frustrated, imagining all the what ifs and could haves. Yet there is beauty in accepting what has been and living the life given to oneself despite any perceived missteps. This piece manifests these notions, opening with a portrayal of "The Life Not Lived" before moving through sadness, bitterness, and finally acceptance.
