The New Woodland Song

Additional Information

The New Woodland Song was written by Linda Lamon to celebrate the planting of 100,000 native trees in Dorset on land owned by Dr Brian May.  Linda kept a traditional English folk feel with the work to reflect the historic significence of the event. Dr May heard the song and asked for it to be performed live with the local schoolchildren and ladies choir at the official tree planting day in Bere Regis in September 2013, when he was present.
