Andrew Crossley studied composition at the Royal College of Music, and is currently undertaking an MA in Cultural and Critical Studies at the University of Westminster. His current research and work concern the philosophy of the Kyoto School, with a particular focus on how their understanding of absolute nothingness as the Buddhist concept of emptiness can be mobilized as the basis of a radical artistic praxis. He lives and works in London.
