MAMMOTH

Opera in Two Acts
by
James Thomas Bersey
MAMMOTH is a short philosophical and comical opera about a vicar fired up
by dwindling congregations and a frightening dream depicting genetic
engineering. He is at odds with his wife who is of a more scientific disposition.
As the vicar's dream starts to become a reality he and his wife find more and
more common ground. Parliament debates the ethics as does the vicar and
some surprising consultees. A fine solution is found and everybody
celebrates.
