Duncan J. Robertson is a Scottish born composer living in Perthshire. His musical works are heavily influenced by the mountainous Highland landscape within which he lives. He has also been greatly inspired by the plains and mountains of Northern Germany where he resided for several years.

Works, to date, consist of piano solo compositions which aspire to capture moments, events and scenes within a geographical backdrop ranging from the backstreets of Hannover, to water rolling up against the shores of a Scottish loch.
