Born in Cardiff in 1975

Studied recorders, flute, piano as a child later adding saxophone 

Interest in composition through GCSE and A-level music resulting in publication of Jazz Suite for flute quartet at age 16

First person to ever study composition as a principal study at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) as an undergraduate from 1997-2000, then MMus from 2002-2004. Awarded a first and a distinction in composition respectively

Represented RWCMD at ISCM Music Days 1998 at Royal Northern College of Music with premiere of Wind Quintet

Awarded Eirwen Thomas prize in 1998 and 1999

Taught composition at RWCMD from 2005-2010

Work represented by Spartan Press, Warwick Music, Cascade Music Publishing, Peacock Press, Recital Music and Oriana Publications.
