Adrienne Spilsbury

Biography

Adrienne is a Welsh composer, based in north-west England. Described as ‘evocative, beautifully written’ (Kendal Midday Concert Club) and ‘atmospheric, fluid in its harmonies and moods’ (Bollington Chamber Concerts), Adrienne creates work enjoyed by audiences and performers alike. She often draws inspiration from landscape, gardens and nature, and has written works for a range of ensembles, from small orchestra to chamber and vocal music, for both professional and leisure-time musicians. Her music has been performed at a range of venues, concert societies and events, including The Stoller Hall Manchester, Kendal Midday Concert Club, Bollington Chamber Concerts, Evesham Music Club, Spring Bank Arts New Mills, The Heritage Centre Macclesfield, The Witham Barnard Castle, Buxton Fringe and Didsbury Arts Festivals.
