This concerto exists in two versions, with identical solo percussion parts - the original version with Symphony Orchestra (2010) (3333/4331/Timp.3 Perc./Str.) and the Chamber Version (2013) (1111/1111/Timp.3 Perc.Accordion/Str.).

The instrumentation of the Solo part features: Marimba, (5 octave), Vibraphone, (f-f3), Glockenspiel (c1-c3), Tubular Bells (c1-g2), 3 Medium-Low Tom-toms, 4 Low Tom-toms (floor), 3 Wind Gongs (2 medium, 1 large), 4 Tam-tams, 4 Cymbals.

This work was one of the three finalists for the Hindemith Prize of the Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival in 2011.
