Chamber work with peformers interacting with and imitating recorded sound of now extinct song birds from around the world. 4 movements, the final includes baritone to deliver the Apology to the Birds with lyrics by the composer sung in English and Zulu. Commissioned by Ensemble Matisse. The creation and tour of this work was supported by the Arts Council of England.
