Dialogues between multiple soul-mates (2007, 2016) is a performance piece for voice, plastic bags and electronics. I first performed this piece in 2007 at UCSD. The piece is a probe into capacities of voice for containment, disposal and transformation of feelings. The performer is instructed to sing phonetic and melodic fragments into plastic bags, zip and throw them away one by one.  The first version of this piece was developed and exhibited in collaboration with Veronika Bauer, William Brent, Joachim Gossmann, Chris Tonelli, and Linda Sundstrom, for a multimedia show sponsored by the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology, and the Center for Research in Computing in the Arts.

In 2016, I had the opportunity to rework this performance with the EXAUDI Vocal Ensemble. I considered this version for five participants and voices. The performance took place in the Chapel of King’s College London, as part of the concert of the conference, False Alarm: Aurality, Errancy, and Voice, which I initiated and organised at King’s College London. A collaborative conference, False Alarm was supported by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Department of Music at King's College London and the Department of Media and Computing (MetaGesture Music project) at Goldsmiths, University of London. 

For sanitary reasons (2007) is written for double bass and cleaning supplies. I had the opportunity to develop this piece in collaboration with double bassist Han Han Cho at UCSD. 

Cage and Care (2013) is an audio track, composed for the Dirty Ear Forum #1, a sound art forum and exhibition initiated by scholar and artist Brandon LaBelle. The forum and exhibition took place in the Errant Bodies Project Space, and was included in the Transmediale/reSource Festival, Berlin, between 19 January- 3 February 2013.  The track features sound recordings of heavy industry machines, thumb piano music boxes, and a voice spelling and singing c-a-g-e and c-a-r-e. 

...and they had heard the mearmaid (2006) is a vocal piece composed and performed for visual artist Selim Birsel's video project, …and they had heard the mermaid, exhibited as part of the Timeline: Artists Film and Video Collection at Konstfack, University College Of Art and Design in Stockholm.
