Commisioned by Be Open / SoundandMusic and Arup Ambisonic Work for 9 Channels Performed in Trafalgar Square 22nd of September 2012 Written for the Be Open Portal Amber was written as a Commission for Trafalgar Square in 2012. Within this I wanted to create a warm embodied space in the centre of Trafalgar Square , London using the sound of resonant cymbals. The work is 20 minutes long and it is intended to be heard on an Ambisonic sound system with 9 channels. Many thanks to all that were involved in the work, Each channel has different content so the over all effect is a delicate and embedded cacophony of sound. Jo Thomas 2012
