Mark Browse
Biography
Mark Browse was educated in Sittingbourne (Kent), and at St Peter’s College Oxford, where he read Modern Languages. His compositions are mostly choral and are enriched by a lifetime’s experience of practical music-making in choirs of all sizes, both as a singer and as a conductor. Mark’s music has been performed in the UK, Europe and both the east and west coasts of the USA; it has also been broadcast on BBC radio. His works include songs, anthems, opera, oratorio, chamber music and orchestral pieces. Mark is also a writer: his book O Little Town – hymn-tunes and the places that inspired them appeared in 2015 and is available on Lulu.com and Amazon.
