Nigel Clarke (1960-) is a composer who studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music and received the Queen's Commendation for Excellence during his time studying. As well as composition, Clarke has had a career in teaching music, being the former head of composition and contemporary music at London College of Music and Media. He was previously Associate Composer to the Black Dyke Millis Band and is currently International Composer in Association to the Grimethorpe Colliery Band.
