Geoffrey Allan Taylor was born, and is living, in Stony Stratford (a small town on the edge of Milton Keynes).
He is a composer, pianist, and was a teacher for over forty years, as well as being an artist, poet and gardener.
Much of his music has been inspired and written for the pleasure of friends or has sprung from my teaching; as well as commissions and requests producing many of his works. Competitions have inspired him with the opportunity that gets a work gets played and heard.
For Geoffry, inspiration can come from many sources - some of his early works started from improvisations or the need to write a rewarding work for the children he taught.
Geoffry retired from teaching mid 2018, after many years of fruitful instruction.
