Edward Mascall-Robson

Biography

Edward Mascall-Robson (b.2000) is a British-Japanese composer and koto performer, currently based in London, Paris and Tokyo. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music as a scholar under the tutelage of David Sawer, he completed his Masters at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in the composition class of Gérard Pesson, and studied electronic music with Yan Maresz, Luis Naón and Grégoire Lorieux. Originally trained in traditional Japanese music, he studied the koto with Curtis Patterson and is a member of the Sawai Koto Institute.
