Claire M Singer

Biography

Claire M Singer is an award winning composer, producer and performer of acoustic and electronic music in film and installations.

She is known for her experimental approach to the organ and for her critically acclaimed releases on the internationally renowned label Touch. 

In 2017 Claire was a recipient of the inaugural Oram Awards for her innovation in sound and music.

Recent projects include composing a solo work for award winning violinist Galya Bisengalieva, a commision from the London Contemporary Orchestra for organ and mixed ensemble, and her score for the film Tell It To The Bees, which won a festival Castell de Perelada Award for best music at the BCN festival in 2019.

Claire is the founder of Organ Reframed festial at Union Chapel, London, which she launched in 2016. The only festival of its kind in the UK, it focusses on commissioning and presenting innovative new experemental music which re-imagines the organ for both the artist and the audience.
