What will you Discover?

The physical Collection is based at Heritage Quay, a brand new state-of-the-art archive centre at the University of Huddersfield - a town with a rich heritage of new and experimental music. Thanks to Heritage Quay’s interactive exhibition space, scores and recordings in the collection are permanently accessible to see, hear and discover, while the centre’s search room provides a comfortable and quiet space for in-depth study and consultation of the collection’s original documents.

The British Music Collection is fully accessible to members of the public.

For enquiries, or to arrange to visit the collection please contact the archives team.

The Heritage Quay exhibition space is open Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm. The search room is open Mon-Tue 9:30am-5pm, plus 1st Tuesday of the month (1pm-7pm), and 3rd Saturday of the month (9:30am-1pm).
