Simon Paterson

Biography

Simon Paterson is a composer, producer and music educator who studied music in Nottingham. He has toured Europe with a jazz-fusion band who were renowned for playing Acid Jazz. His music successes include performing at Glastonbury and having two UK Top 40 successes. He has worked with phenomenal jazz musicians as a bassist and has composed music for stage and screen as well as being a respect music producer, recording engineer and university lecturer.

Paterson is currently working with bands such as Trio Con Alma, Tom Whitworth Trio, Sharp Little Bones and Counter (with Joe Egan) as a songwriter and bassist to complete the recording of a new album which reflects on his most recent album 'Aesthetic of Angels in the Architecture.
