Additional Information

This is a short experimental piece I wrote whilst travelling in Australia for the ensemble of flute, oboe, violin and cello, with inspiration drawn from the American traditional song Shenindoah. It makes use of aleatoric writing throughout to create a shifting and uncertain textural landscape with the four instruments.

This piece recieved an honourable mention from the Frost School of Music's International Composition Competition.
