“Nature of Habit was sketched in an evening in late August after the 2011 riots in East London. It was edited over eight months in my home studio. Its two tracks, Charged and Zero, are works which were created by a need to write music that wasn’t reliant on gestural impact or traditional counterpoint. Rather, I wanted to compose a music which could exist in its own right, affording personal space, interpretation and choice. A raw, immediate detailed music generated from the colliding of multiple grains of noise and glitch.
