The first performance of  The Windhover, Harry Ploughman and Tom’s Garland was given by the composer as baritone soloist with Geoffrey Poole, piano, at Bristol Music Club on 6 December 2013

The first performance of the complete song cycle Mountains of the Mind was given by Matthew Clark and the composer as alternating baritone soloists with Philip Blandford, piano, at St. Paul’s Church, Clifton, Bristol, on Thursday 17th May 2018 as part of the Severnside Composers Alliance New Music Festival 2018
